COMPARE & CONTRAST BETWEEN 2 METHOD USING BY PRESCHOOL TEACHER IN TEACHING ENGLISH PRESCHOOL

As conclusion,both of kindergarten did not have big different in method of teaching preschool English in which TADIKA INTEGRASI SERI JASMINE applying method of repetition, while TADIKA KEMAS TAMAN BATU MUDA applying role of study 2 in 1 and 1 in 1.
These two method has similar way to teach like using flash card, picture card and simple word list.
On the other hand, TADIKA INTEGRASI SERI JASMINE and TADIKA KEMAS TAMAN BATU MUDA have an effective way to attract children and ease the children to understand English in variety way. Hence, there is a big far different in term of English medium in these two preschool because TADIKA INTEGRASI SERI JASMINE using English language as a medium in their preschool but TADIKA KEMAS TAMAN BATU MUDA using Bahasa as a medium.

TADIKA KEMAS TAMAN BATU MUDA. 

This lovely kindergarten manage by Norlia binti Osman. A teacher who is highly experienced in teaching and guiding children. Has a many experience in teaching for preschool children. 
This kindergarten located in Taman Batu Muda, Kuala Lumpur. This kindergarten was opened several years ago in which serviced for 7 years old. The children in there are Malay, Chinese and Indian.
This kindergarten was built by the government and managed by Madam Norlia and his assistant Miss Asiah.
The kindergarten has total of 30 children and 2 teacher. 
The children are sent here to kindergarten, their age among 5-6 years.

From this interview, the English teacher's name is Norlia binti Osman. We know that she is the teacher of TADIKA KEMAS and had served 25 years working experience in many TADIKA KEMAS. 
She said, in her working experience during served in kindergarten are bean a lot of patience to take care of the children. She said, have a very difficult to control the behavior of children. She must to be a patient because the child just now over advanced. 
Then, our group also ask about the method that they use in kindergarten. She use the roles of study such as 2 in 1 or 1 in 1. For example, teacher show the flash card and tell them what are the wrote on the card and the children will follow the teacher.
The children learn English at home and teacher said depend on their parents, if they encourage or not the children to learn English at home. Parents doesn't not to give all responsibility to teacher in learner, parents also must to be their responsibility to teach the children because the teacher need the children and children need the parent and teacher. In this three are very related in learner.

The nursery and kindergarten were founded by Madam Hayati Hussin (Umi), a qualified and licensed infant teacher with more than a decade of experience and with very dynamic, committed and dedicated staff, with promise to deliver the highest level of commitment in providing best services in developing and taking care of the children ensuring they have the best growing up at experience and bringing up a very of them. Hence, we welcome suggestions and opinions from parent from time to time, customer, suppliers and consultant.

Nursery and kindergarten was formerly known as Taska Umi Hayati. It was founded and establish 10 years  ago since 1997. Nursery Jasmine and kindergarten was a took over from Taska Aina with the idea to expand our services in children development program inclusive of education and Care Center.

Nursery, Care center, and kindergarten Seri Jasmine is the private children of development center that open for enrollment to all kind of normal children and infant.

From this interview, the English teacher's name Nurul Azziati. We know that the English teacher of TADIKA INTEGRASI SERI JASMINE had two years working experience in kindergarten. 

She said in her working experience in a preschool setting are she had been a lot of patience on handling children, parents and management.

Teacher Nurul also using repetition method to make the children ease to understand the English language. This method is successful and easy way to introduce English language for young children.

The important thing in teaching English is following each of their steps starting with familiarizing of simple word, instruction, and environment and end with advance learning.

While the good example to teach English for children at home is by providing exercise or homework to make them memorize the lesson.

Besides that, the main barrier that faced by teacher Nurul when teach preschool English is when the children do not understand the instruction given to them and afraid to ask the teacher.

So, to overcome this problem teacher Nurul had took and effective way by reset the seating of children that slow leaner together with fast learner. By this action the children may ask their friend if they do not understand and learn together.

Apart from that the others teaching method that available in order to teach English is by teaching one by one to let the children know their mistake and weakness.

Last but not least, the specific commitment for parents and teacher would be the most appropriate to encourage the children to learn English by adapting the lesson that children learn in preschool at their home with their family, talk with children using simple English word and providing homework.

We had make an appointment with the English teacher of these two kindergarten to compare and contrast of English language as a medium in their preschool.
